By Anand Peter
An illustrated life of Christ in twelve parts, harmonised from the four Gospels and told in the King James Version, from before His birth, through His ministry, Passion and Resurrection, to His Ascension and the promise of His return. Two hundred and nineteen pictures, drawn chiefly from the Read ‘n Grow Picture Bible (Sweet Publishing and FreeBibleimages.org), accompany the narrative throughout.
Preface
Son of God, Jesus Christ — the Story Immortal
The birth of Jesus Christ marked a defining moment in human history and ushered in a new era of spiritual understanding and hope. Through His life and ministry, God revealed Himself not as a distant or fearsome power, but as a personal, compassionate, and loving presence, inviting humanity into a relationship founded on faith, forgiveness, and peace.
In the brief span of thirty-three years, the world witnessed the birth, life, ministry, death, resurrection, and ascension of Jesus Christ. These events, recorded in the four Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, form the foundation of the Christian faith and continue to inspire millions across cultures and generations.
The Gospel according to John concludes with these words: “And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen” (John 21:25).
In view of this, the present work offers a carefully selected and harmonised narrative of the most significant events in the life of Jesus Christ, drawn from the Gospel accounts. The purpose of this book is not to present a scholarly analysis, but rather a clear, faithful, and accessible pictorial story of His life and teachings. Like every meaningful story, the life of Jesus Christ has a background rooted in human history and divine purpose. This book, therefore, begins with a brief prologue that traces humanity’s spiritual journey from Creation to the coming of Christ, so that readers may better understand the context in which His life and mission unfolded.
It is my sincere hope that this work will inspire reflection, strengthen faith, and deepen understanding of the message of Jesus Christ — a message that continues to speak to the human heart across time and circumstance.

It is my prayer that as readers journey through these pages, they may be guided by the Holy Spirit, gain a deeper understanding of the life and teachings of Jesus Christ, and be encouraged to walk in faith, love, and obedience throughout their earthly lives.
May this book serve as a source of learning, inspiration, and spiritual growth for all who read it.

Vivek inspired me to undertake this venture. We had worked on this for close to a year. We were in the process of identifying a source for the images when he suddenly passed into glory.
