Remembering my son Vivek Peter, who left us to be with our Lord Jesus Christ, this day two years ago. I am writing this to praise Jesus for the wonderful life He modelled in Vivek. My motive is not to seek sympathy, as you will find that there is nothing in his short life to sympathise about, but to celebrate the wonderful life Vivek was blessed with.
At fifty years he was shaped to be a kind and considerate person, who loved children. The other passions he pursued were travelling and food, so much so that he turned himself into an excellent cook.
Place Vivek in a crowd, and you will soon find people gravitating towards him. Having friends around him was a way of life for him.
He was a wonderful son, a reliable and devoted husband, a doting father, a brother his sisters could fall back on, and a trusting friend.
He did very well in his profession too. Some of the concepts he worked on were patented in the United States of America.
Vivek lived a full life. I can think of nothing he would have regretted having missed doing.
May he be in his eternal peace in the glory of Jesus Christ.
