The media is all abuzz about the Chandrayaan-3 Moon mission, which was expected to reach its climax this evening. The motives of some of the news channels seemed suspect, but by and large, our young generation was naturally excited.
I was rather amused to watch Hindu priests from various parts of the country offering prayers to their idols, and Muslims offering prayers for the soft landing of the module on the Moon. Not much was heard, by contrast, of any Christian response. Perhaps because it was lukewarm.
The question I put to the members here is this: why are Christians yawning when others are jumping with excitement? Or are they? What is your own take on the subject of space exploration and Christian theology?
